# January 26th, 2026

Whether you're escaping winter somewhere warm (👀) or pushing Q1 pipeline in freezing temps, this release is all about speed, precision, and better timing - in your analysis, in your follow-ups, and in how your demos play.

Let’s get into it.

### New sharing experience (extension, Gmail, HubSpot)

Sharing just became frictionless. We’ve introduced a **new side panel sharing experience** inside:

* The Storylane Chrome Extension
* Gmail
* HubSpot

Now you can:

* Generate and share demo links instantly
* Personalize before sending
* Stay inside your workflow

No tab switching. Just seamless demo distribution where sales already work.

### Comparison mode improvements

You can now customize both “From” and “To” dates when comparing demo performance.

Now you can:

* Compare exact campaign windows
* Analyze post-launch performance
* Track the impact after sales pushes
* Zoom in on specific weeks, days, or custom ranges

### Alerts for presenters

Presenter seats (typically sales reps) can now **create alerts** and get notified the moment:

* A prospect engages with their demo
* A demo hub gets viewed
* Intent spikes

Sales shouldn’t have to rely on ops or admins to set up alerts anymore. Now they control their own signal.

### Auto-mode in the demo autoplay

Autoplay just got smarter. You can now switch Demo Autoplay to **Auto Mode**, and Storylane will automatically determine how long each step should stay visible - based on:

* Amount of guide text
* Voiceover or video avatar duration

### One more thing 👀

We’re actively working on a **new, more polished editor experience**.

Today it's live only for free users - but things are changing behind the scenes, and we can't wait to show it to all users soon 🙂
