(Note: you need to have an active Storylane account and Clearbit account)

How to Integrate

  • Open Storylane, go to the Integrations page, click on "Contact Us", and send us your secret API key.

  • We will set up the integration, secure the connection between Storylane and Clearbit, and give you confirmation.

  • You are all set. Whenever a viewer sees your demo, Storylane will automatically retrieve additional data about the viewer and their company from Clearbit.

Usage and Best Practices

Here are some important points to consider when using the Storylane + Clearbit integration:

  • Lead Forms: The integration works best when used without lead forms. If you already collect company information through lead forms, the Clearbit integration may provide redundant data. It is recommended to evaluate whether using lead forms in conjunction with Clearbit is necessary for your specific use case.

  • Analytics Activity Feed: The company name/account identified by Clearbit will be available in the analytics activity feed of your Storylane account. You can access this feed to view and analyze the engagement of different companies with your content.

  • Clearbit Pricing: Utilizing the Clearbit API as part of the integration will increase your Clearbit usage credits. Please refer to Clearbit's pricing details and terms to understand the associated costs.
